Royal-1964: Yahoo signup & YahooGroup E-mail link

By getting a Free YahooID and a password and then associating your personal EMail address with that YahooID allows you to access many facilities provided by royal-1964 group. Then, among other things, you will be able to read through past postings made by our classmates. And be able to participate in "Internet Chat" sessions that we will organize from time to time. You need to do this link within YahooGroup even if you used a Yahoo E-mail address to join the royal-1964 group.

The following steps walk you through getting a new YahooID/password and then associating it with your EMail address:

If you don't have a YahooID first click here to register with Yahoo and get a free YahooID/password. If you already have a YahooID, then go to the next step.
First click here. If you have not currently logged into Yahoo it will ask you to do so, or if you have not registered with Yahoo lead you there as well before taking you to url http://groups.yahoo.com/memwiz. On this page Click on Continue. This page will show you the E-mail addresses which have been associated with your yahoo ID that you have logged in. If you don't see the E-mail addresse with which which you joined Royal-1964 group. Click on Add new e-mail address.
On Next page you can Enter E-mail addresse with which which you joined Royal-1964 as an Alternate Email. NOT your new YahooID unless you used that to join the group
Click Finished button.
Yahoo will then E-mail you a code number to confirm your request.
After you have received that E-Mail from Yahoo with the code, follow the instructions in that E-mail to Verify the association. Yahoo needs to confirm that the E-mail address you entered is an address at which you get E-mail.
When you go to the webpage specified in the confirmation Email type in the E-mail Confirmation Code they sent you and your yahoo password. Click on Verify. This will take you to a page titled
Step 1. Select the email addresses to use in searching for memberships.
It should list your your E-mail address which was the E-mail you verifyed. Click on Continue. This will take you to a page titled
Step 2. Specify a Yahoo! profile for each group membership.
It should list royal-1964 next to your E-mail address, if you have joined royal-1964 with the E-mail address you verified. Click on Continue. This will take you to a page titled
Step 3. Automate Yahoo! ID Selection.
Click on Continue. This will take you to a page titled
Congratulations!
Click on Go to the My Groups page This will take you to a page
with all the yahoogroups you have joined with that E-mail including royal-1964 as a group name.
Click on royal-1964
At any time after this initial linkup which needs to be done only once for eachE-mail address you use, you can
go to URL http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups to go to a page with all your yahoogroups listed.
or go to URL http://groups.yahoo.com/group/royal-1964/messages to go directly to latest messages on the royal-1964 group page.
You will be requested to Sign in with your ID and password to continue. if you have not already done so.
Remember to reply invitation to join Royal-1964 group or request membership via the website as the case maybe if you have not already done so.

Now you will have full access to the Royal-1964 group.
